Purpose:

To encase the magician in a sphere of spiritual protection, divine stillness, and silence. The Rose Cross Ritual raises the temple to a vibration of harmony, conceals the magician from astral disturbances, and seals the space in the Light of the Cross. Used primarily after banishing rituals, before meditation, invocation, or pathworkings.

I. Qabalistic Cross (Opening)

  1. Touch forehead: ATEH

  2. Touch chest or feet: MALKUTH

  3. Touch right shoulder: VE-GEVURAH

  4. Touch left shoulder: VE-GEDULAH

  5. Hands to heart: LE-OLAM, AMEN.

II. Rose Cross Tracing (Protective Veil)

  1. Start in the South-East. Trace in the air a golden Calvary Cross. Encircle it with a rose-colored circle. Begin and end the circle at the right arm of the cross.

• Point to the center of the symbol and vibrate: YEHESHUAH.

  1. Move clockwise to the South-West. Repeat the cross and rose. Vibrate YEHESHUAH.

  2. Move to the North-West. Repeat the symbol. Vibrate YEHESHUAH.

  3. Move to the North-East. Repeat the symbol. Vibrate YEHESHUAH.

  4. Return to the South-East. Touch the center of the original cross.
