The Qabalistic Cross

Purpose:

To align the body, mind, and soul with the Divine Axis — the Tree of Life, the Pillar of Light, and the Fourfold Form of Power. This rite is performed at the beginning and end of all ceremonial workings to establish spiritual sovereignty, balance, and center.

Ritual Instructions:

1. Raise your right hand upward, reaching to the heavens.

• Draw down divine light from the infinite source above your crown.

2. Touch your forehead with the right hand

• Say: “Ateh” (Unto Thee)

• Visualize the light entering your crown and illuminating your mind.

3. Draw your hand downward in a continuous vertical line —

pass the throat and heart, and pause at the solar plexus.

4. Continue the gesture down, and point between your feet

• Say: “Malkuth” (The Kingdom)

• Visualize the divine light anchoring into the Earth, rooting you to the world.

5. Extend your right arm fully to the right side, palm outward

• Say: “Ve-Geburah” (And the Power)

• Visualize a line of red fire extending infinitely to your right.

6. Move your right hand across your body to the left, still pointing

• As you reach left, raise and extend your left arm, so both arms are fully outstretched to the left.

• Say: “Ve-Gedulah” (And the Glory)
