What Is a Planetary Talisman?

A talisman is an object that holds a specific spiritual or planetary power.

In Agrippa’s system, a planetary talisman is:

• Made from a metal, stone, or paper aligned with a specific planet

• Created at the correct time (day and planetary hour)

• Engraved with a magic square, planetary sigils, and sometimes a divine or angelic name

• Consecrated through ritual

Its function is to store and radiate the influence of that planet, granting the bearer the corresponding virtues (e.g. protection, love, power, wealth).

The Components of a Planetary Talisman

To create a talisman the Agrippan way, you need:

1. The Planet – Choose the planetary force to work with (Sun, Moon, Venus, etc.)

2. The Timing – Work on the planet’s day and hour:

• Sun: Sunday

• Moon: Monday

• Mars: Tuesday

• Mercury: Wednesday

• Jupiter: Thursday

• Venus: Friday

• Saturn: Saturday
